the hatch 2017 A Portmanteau of Merit and Heritage
A lack of new oak barrels gives this wine a fruit-forward focus with a hint of stony minerality. The nose has just a touch of dark chocolate mixed in with the very prevalent aromas of plum and cherry. The tannins are soft and fine-grained, and the wine has a long lingering finish of earthy goodness, leather, and spice. Great with Pork Tenderloin, or Poutine with Miso Gravy. Even better drink a glass while floating under the Port Mann Bridge in a boat. (See what we did there?)

Our new name: A Portmanteau of Merit and Heritage! It kind of rolls off the tongue...
